Nature vs Nurture

Nature VS Nurture

There are many sides to all different opinions, a really debating topic that everyone is discussing about has a lot of effect on society, "Nature VS Nurture". Some people think that nature is what builds up a human being, while others think that nurture is the big effect on humans. Let's embark on a journey and figure out the differences in each side of the debate.

In the video where China made a new law saying it is illegal for a family to have more than one child, many twins were separated and adopted by different families all the way across the world from each other. For example, there was a pair of Chinese twins that were separated at birth and adopted by different international parents, as international adoptions were encouraged at the moment.

While I was watching the video, I realized that there were many situations where nature overruled nurture. When Eva and Evienne met, they were so much a like even though they were miles apart. They liked the same type of ice cream and  the same food, that is really ironic how worlds collide in such interesting way. But on the other hand they also had some different preferences and styles.

In my opinion, I think that nature overrules the nurture application, as we read those articles in class about the nature vs nurture concept, it supports the nature application more as it says that if one of the twins accountants a specific disease, there is a high chance that their twin gets it as well.

Nurture also affects the human beings mental health development. For example, when twins as childhood are bullied or abused, they may have a whole different styled life than their twin, their life could be filled with depression and sadness while the other experiences a great life full of joy and happiness. This applies whether to monozygotic (identical) twins or dizygotic (fraternal) twins.

This is one of the most important and interesting debates that I've encountered, I hope everyone really find out agrees about the "Nature VS Nurture" concept.
